Back to school, oh back to school
Whoooooooosh....(pause), and we're back ladies and gentlemen. Wasn't I just sitting here saying I was on my way to head home for Spring Break, jeeez. For how screwed up my Spring Break plans were, and how I thought I had nothing planned, I ended up doing something everyday. I'll try and break it down for ya.
Got back in Novi Friday evening, chatted with the parents and fam and went up to the bike shop to see what was new around there. Saturday I slept in a little and mostly hung out all day until the evening. I went out to dinner with Conor at Olive Garden that night, gosh that was awesome, sooo tasty. Saturday was my good friend Scott's 20th birthday so he threw a party at his place, such a good time let me tell you. Check out the moblog for more.
I pretty much just hung out with Conor and Scott 24/7 all week. Tuesday night Eddie, Scott, and I went to Windsor for the night. I hadn't been there in awhile so it felt great to get back there. Definitley was a good idea to go on a Tuesday night because it wasn't crowded at the borders or bar, it was super chill (just how I like it). On Wednesday I went to the Piston's game vs. the San Francisco Warriors at the Palace. My dad had gotten 4 tickets from a Coke supplier at his work so I decided to take Eddie, Scott, and Conor. Unfortunatley Scott couldn't go last minute because he had gotten sick. Driving back from the game was crazy, ran into a few snow squalls and I was going like 30mph, it sucked. Towards the end of the week I was able to hang out with my friend Mitch from high school which was great because we never get to hang out anymore and don't talk that much because we're at different schools now. It was grand, just like old times.
Because I didn't go with my original spring break plans, I had alot more money just laying around and I was a girl for the week with it. I swear I went to the mall 5 times over break. One day I went twice on two separate trips, wow. For the past couple of years I have been looking at getting a nice dress watch, I've never really had one, just Nike sports watches and they're not very nice looking for special occasions, etc. I went to the Fossil store at 12 Oaks mall last week and picked up a nice one, its their dress line called Arkitekt. Besides that I think I mainly spent most of my money over spring break on food, Starbucks, and a couple dress shirts. Its really a good thing that I'm back at school now because I was going to Starbucks at least once a day.
It was nice to be home and hang around with the family and the dog. I swear this past Saturday I played with my dog outside in the snow for over two hours. He was definitley born for the snow. I wish I had some pictures for you guys but my camera was inside at the time. Darn.
I must say that after Spring Break, I gained a few pounds... I seriously don't think I ate a single meal at home. I am starting to watch calorie intake carefully in ordered to slim down for biking season. I know I said I had started doing that a few weeks ago, but it sorta fell off, we'll see if I can stick to it this time. I'm also heading to the SAC tonight with Ben to throw the football around in the rec room so that should be sweet, it'll be nice to get some exercise.
As for now, I'm back here at school. Today has been a nice relaxing day, I have been very chill lately which is awesome. I just finished unpacking late last night and got reorganized as far as what I need to do for school and everything. It's nice to feel neat and organized, it gives me confidence. Signed up for some appointments at Grawn Hall so I can figure out some more stuff about classes for next year and hopefully get closer to signing my major. We are officially at the halfway point for classes, and if I can just keep up good grades in my classes and not slack off, I should be able to turn on cruise control for the summer and have a good time.
Until next time kids.....
